Range Extenders, Desktop, Wall Mount, Ceiling Mount

Velocilinx's Access points come in a variety of configurations and features. We manufacture the highest quality products at a reasonable cost to our customers.

By using a simple user interface to control the functions of the router, the users can configure just what is needed and can set up the device quickly.

802.3ac range extenders

Range extenders allow for the repeating of a signal to increase the range of the original device.

It uses a dual band method where the source is transmitted on one frequency or channel where the boosted signal is transmitted on another frequency or channel.

802.3ac access points

Access points come in desktop, wall mount or ceiling mount configurations. In most access points, unlike range extenders, the connection to the network is hardwired not wireless.

Therefore, the connection’s stability is better. The downside of the access point is that it requires an Ethernet wire to be run to the access point where the range extender does not.

  • Wired gigabit Ethernet port – plug equipment directly into the back of the router.
  • Power Over Ethernet (POE) compatible – allows the placement of the access point without having to run both electrical and data to the same location. The electrical power runs over the Ethernet cable.
  • Internet protocol (IP Address) filtering – give permissions and set timing based on IP addresses
  • Wireless Security – uses the latest security protocols for advanced security of a wireless network.
  • MU-MIMO – Wireless network protocol that allows multiple users to connect to a single antenna on a router and be treated with multiple input and multiple output streams each at the same time.
  • Wireless modes – product complies with 802.11a (5Ghz), 802.11b (2.4Ghz), 802.11g (2.4Ghz), 802.11n (2.4GHz & 5Ghz), 802.11ac (2.4GHz & 5Ghz), and 802.11ad (2.4GHz & 5Ghz, 60GHz).
  • Encryption protocols – WEP (64 or 128 bit), WPA (TKIP), WPA2 (AES)
  • Maximum speeds per bandwidth – 2.4GHz: 800Mbps, 5GHz: 1750Mbps

Wireless Options

  • AC dual band - 2.4GHz and 5GHz
  • AC tri band – 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 5GHz
  • AD -- 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 60GHz
