USB hubs are little devices that takes a single USB port and multiplies the number of devices that can be plugged into a desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet or other computing device.
They can be stand alone, with our without power, or they can have adapters built in to make them a docking station for quick attaching multiple devices to a computer.
Power: With external power adapter or Bus powered (by computer or another device that is connected to the computer).
Port numbers: 2 port, 4 port, and 7 port.
Port types: Type A female ports (in USB 2.0, 3.0, or 3.1), Type C female ports, Video port, Network port and Dedicated charging port.
Cabling: Detachable cables or Permanently connected cables.
